I was raised in Canton, CT, as the youngest of four siblings in an immigrant family. My parents and siblings have been my greatest inspirations watching them navigate the hardships of moving to a new country has fueled my drive for success and given me a deep sense of purpose. Originally, I pursued a major in Communication with an interest in Psychology, drawn to both fields by my love for connecting with people and understanding them on a deeper level. While I still cherish the knowledge I gained from these studies, my passion ultimately led me to Digital Media & Journalism with a minor in Sports Journalism.

My journey into media truly took off during my junior year when I became an anchor, reporter, and web script journalist for my university’s student run news network. This experience solidified my love for storytelling and set me on my current path. The defining moment came during a course that collaborated with Special Olympics Connecticut, where my professor recognized my strengths and assigned me as the class’s social media manager. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for digital media. That passion only grew when I interned as a social media and publications manager for a local convention in the summer of 2024. Despite the unexpected challenge of producing nearly triple the anticipated content, I thrived under the pressure, realizing that I loved the creative demands and fast-paced nature of social media management.

Beyond journalism, my love for sports especially basketball and the NBA pushed me to explore sports media. As a diehard Los Angeles Lakers fan, I branched into sports social media in the fall of 2024, creating NBA related TikTok content and discovering a passion for short form, on camera storytelling. Moving forward, I’m eager to continue on this path of social media management, blending my creativity, strategic thinking, and love for digital storytelling to make an impact in the industry
